BIGHIT Music has issued an official statement regarding unauthorized use of TXT's Yeonjun's solo song "GGUM."
According to Soompi, BIGHIT Music confirmed that the audio track for "GGUM" was unlawfully used and illegally uploaded to both domestic and international DSPs (digital streaming platforms).
In a statement, the agency said: "We have confirmed that the audio track for Yeonjun's song 'GGUM' was unlawfully used and illegally uploaded to domestic and international DSPs."
BIGHIT is actively monitoring where TXT members' content appears and taking action against piracy and illegal distribution.
Yeonjun, one of TXT's most popular members, has built a significant following within and outside K-pop. His solo releases draw considerable attention, making them targets for unauthorized distribution through illegal channels.
The agency's action makes clear that it will protect its artists' intellectual property. For MOA (TXT's fanbase), streaming on legitimate platforms remains the only authorized way to access Yeonjun's music.
