Josh Allen has a confession: he's a nightmare when it comes to his beard. In an interview on the Centered on Buffalo podcast, the Buffalo Bills quarterback revealed the one quirk that irritates his wife Hailee Steinfeld.
"If I got something in my beard or my mustache," Josh told podcast host Eric Wood on May 20, "and she goes to reach for it, I always, like, bark and snap." His father did the same thing whenever Josh or his siblings would touch his "whiskers" growing up.
"Every time I do that, it gets her every single time," Josh said. "I can't not do it. It's, like, there for the talking and I have to take it."
When asked about pet peeves of his own, the 30-year-old played it safe. "Absolutely nothing," he joked to Eric, who immediately responded with an approving "Well done."
The couple tied the knot in 2025 before welcoming their baby girl in April. Hailee recently gave fans a peek into how they celebrated Josh's milestone 30th birthday over the weekend—his first as a dad. "This is his first birthday as a dad (!!), which means we get to spend it with our little lady," she wrote in a May 22 Substack post.
Josh has been vocal about his excitement for fatherhood. "This is the most important thing I'll ever be in my life, is being a dad," he told Buffalo press back in January.
