FIFA has announced the lineup for the 2026 World Cup opening ceremonies, featuring Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Lisa, Rema, and Tyla.
Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, Lisa, Rema, and Tyla will headline the U.S. opener on June 12 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, when the home team faces Paraguay.
For the first time, FIFA is hosting multiple opening ceremonies across different countries for a single tournament. Canada and Mexico are getting their own ceremonies.
Toronto's BMO Field will host Alanis Morissette, Alessia Cara, Elyanna, Jessie Reyez, Michael Bublé, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, Vegedream, and William Prince on June 12 for Canada's opener against Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mexico City's Azteca Stadium will host J Balvin, Tyla, Lila Downs, Los Ángeles Azules, Maná, Alejandro Fernández, Belinda, and Danny Ocean on June 11 for Mexico vs. South Africa.
Instead of one opening show, FIFA is spreading the ceremonies across three countries, giving each nation its own event. The lineup includes K-pop artist Lisa and Afrobeats artists Rema and Tyla.
The opening ceremonies take place June 11-12. Read the full Rolling Stone breakdown here.
