Ethics Policy
The trust readers place in IndiaWorldEye is our most important asset. We hold ourselves to the following standards.
Independence
Our editorial judgment is not for sale. We do not accept payment, gifts, or other consideration in exchange for coverage or favorable treatment.
Conflicts of interest
Writers disclose material personal, financial, or professional relationships that bear on their coverage. Where a conflict cannot be resolved, the story is reassigned.
Separation of news and opinion
Opinion and analysis pieces are labeled. News reporting is held to tighter sourcing standards than commentary.
Plagiarism and attribution
Original work is our baseline. Quotations and non-original ideas are attributed. Material drawn from other publications is linked and credited.
Dealing with sources
We honor agreements with sources on background, off-the-record, and confidentiality terms. Anonymous sources are used sparingly and only when the information is newsworthy, verifiable, and obtainable no other way.
Corrections
Errors are corrected transparently per our Corrections Policy.
