Adivi Sesh is joining the praise for Imtiaz Ali's Main Vaapas Aaunga. The actor-writer took to X to praise the film, calling it a "modern-day classic" and crediting Imtiaz Ali as one of Bollywood's romantic storytellers.
Fresh off Dacoit: Ek Prem Katha, Sesh commended the ensemble cast—Diljit Dosanjh, Sharvari, Vedang Raina, and Rajat Kapur—for their work. But Naseeruddin Shah drew his sharpest attention.
"Naseeruddin Shah delivers a performance for the ages," Sesh wrote, describing Shah's role as marked by "remarkable subtlety and depth." According to Sesh, Shah's performance is the emotional core of the film.
What struck Sesh was the film's sincerity. "In a time when stories often move at a breakneck pace, Main Vaapas Aaunga takes the courage to pause, reflect, and celebrate human emotions," he wrote. Imtiaz Ali captures love in its "most vulnerable and honest form," exploring relationships across generations and the human yearning for connection.
Sesh also credited composer A.R. Rahman, whose score deepened the film's emotional impact, and producers Shibasish Sarkar, Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, and the Window Seat Films team for backing what he called a "cinematic gem."
Main Vaapas Aaunga has drawn endorsements from across Bollywood. Sesh's praise is among the latest.
