Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are officially reuniting with director Mohit Suri for another romantic venture under Yash Raj Films. The trio collaborated on Saiyaara, and insiders say the on-screen chemistry will return for this new romantic drama.
The new film will begin shooting in October or November this year, once both actors finish their current commitments. Panday is working on Ali Abbas Zafar's next project and expects to wrap by July, while Padda is occupied with Shakti Shalini.
"There is a lot of excitement within the team as they come together after the phenomenal response of Saiyaara," a source told the publication.
Director Mohit Suri outlined his creative vision in April when the project was announced. "It's always been love stories for me," he said. "Love is supposed to be felt intensely, and that's why I naturally gravitate towards this as a storyteller."
He added: "Coming back with the same team from Saiyaara feels incredibly special. Maybe it was always written in the stars. This time I feel like a newcomer, excited, anxious about this story."
The film was never titled Satranga, contrary to online speculation. The actual title remains unrevealed, but the story is a fresh romantic drama. Suri's work is known for emotional intensity, and Panday and Padda have proven chemistry on screen.
