Ben Feldman has been upped to series regular for Ghosts season 6, the CBS supernatural comedy.

For the past two seasons, Feldman has guest-starred as Kyle, a character with the same supernatural gift as Rose McIver's Sam—he can see the ghosts haunting the house. His role has been playing the "ghost babysitter" whenever Sam needs backup.

His scene-stealing appearances earned the promotion. The chemistry between Feldman and the ensemble cast clearly convinced network executives.

Fans have been rooting for this move. Every appearance showed that Kyle's comedic chaos works well against the show's established ghost squad.

Ghosts premiered in 2021 and has become one of CBS's strongest performers, blending comedy with genuinely spooky moments. Rose McIver leads as Sam, a woman who gains the ability to see and communicate with the mansion's undead residents after a near-fatal accident.

The ensemble—which includes Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, and Asher Grodman—has built chemistry over five seasons. Now Feldman joins them full-time.

Season 6 hasn't aired yet, but if the pattern holds, Kyle should become a fan favourite with his expanded role. His character bridges the gap between the living world and the supernatural chaos of the house, functioning as comic relief when things get eerie.

This promotion matters for an actor's career. From guest star to series regular is a significant milestone.
