Brett Eldredge announced on June 15 that he is married. The 40-year-old country star revealed the news on Instagram with a wedding photo, withholding his bride's identity.

"To me, some of the best things in life are the ones you plant and grow quietly in your sacred space, away from the noise," Eldredge wrote. "We value that deeply, and honestly, it soothes my soul."

The "Songs About You" singer did not reveal his wife's name or show her face in the wedding photo. He did describe her qualities in detail.

Eldredge called his wife "an amazing woman who truly loves me for me, way beyond the fella with a microphone." He described her as someone "just as goofy as I am" who enjoys "weird barefoot dance-offs in the living room" and stargazing.

He continued: "Someone I can have rolling belly laughs with, cry with, and go through life's tilt-a-whirl of emotions with. Someone who inspires me with her big, beautiful heart."

Eldredge hinted at the relationship in December when he told People magazine, "I have an amazing person in my life and I'm very happy about it. These moments are really sacred to me and her."

The marriage announcement comes as other country stars have announced weddings. Zac Brown and Kendra Scott married in Greece in May, and Lainey Wilson married former NFL quarterback Devlin "Duck" Hodges in Tennessee the same month.

Eldredge has kept his romance largely private, a contrast to the typical social media couple posts and paparazzi coverage common in country music.
