Tom Morello announced Power to the People Festival while touring with Bruce Springsteen. The lineup includes Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Joan Baez, Dave Matthews, Brittany Howard, Dropkick Murphys, Serj Tankian, Cypress Hill, and Killer Mike.
The one-day festival takes place at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland on October 3. Morello calls it "the spirit of activism, creativity, and hope." Jack Black will perform alongside Roman Morello, Revel Ian, Yoyoka Soma, and Hugo Weiss. The Linda Lindas, Taylor Momsen, and Matt Cameron also appear on the bill.
Street artist Shepard Fairey is handling artwork and a DJ set. Morello will also perform.
Presale begins Friday, May 29 at 10 a.m. ET, with general tickets going on sale Saturday, May 30 at the same time.
