Chelsea and Manchester City collide at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 16. Man City enters as the overwhelming favorite, sitting at No. 2 in the Premier League with an unbeaten run since January. The Citizens are chasing their eighth FA Cup trophy and appear in their fourth consecutive final.
Chelsea sits ninth in the league and hasn't won a Premier League match since March. A Cup victory could redirect a season that has stalled. Man City defeated Chelsea 3-0 the last time these two met in April.
The FA Cup is the world's oldest soccer tournament, and upsets occur regularly. Crystal Palace beat Man City in last year's final. Pep Guardiola afterward criticized VAR decisions, saying officials "didn't do their jobs."
Chelsea is the underdog. The FA Cup, however, does not reward league position or winning streaks alone.
