Daisy Edgar-Jones is stepping into Regency-era romance with the first trailer for the latest Sense and Sensibility revival.
Director George Oakley's Working Title production follows Edgar-Jones leading an ensemble through Georgian-era England—the world of Jane Austen's classic. The cast includes Esmé Creed-Miles, Oscar winner Caitríona Balfe, Frank Dillane, Herbert Nordrum, Bodhi Rae Breathnach, George MacKay, and Fiona Shaw.
Diana Reid wrote the adaptation. The trailer's synopsis places the story against Georgian England, following the ensemble through love, loss, and the tension between emotion and restraint.
Edgar-Jones commands the frame with the elegance the material requires. Balfe brings weight to every scene, while the supporting cast adds layers of intrigue.
