Exclusive tea from Deadline Hollywood: Emily Hampshire and Theo Rossi are locked in for indie rom-com Maid of Dishonor.

The pair have wrapped lead roles opposite director Jenna Laurenzo in her sophomore feature, a wedding comedy.

Hampshire plays Caroline, a woman who's been living abroad for two years and returns to the States with a surprise fiancé (Rossi). She asks her best friend to be maid of honor.

Hampshire, known for Schitt's Creek, brings comedic timing to the role. Rossi, who appears in The Penguin universe, plays the fiancé. Shooting took place in Los Angeles.

Laurenzo, who directed Lez Bomb, is in post-production on the film. A release date announcement may come soon.
