Google unveiled Antigravity 2.0 at Google IO 2026, a coding assistant designed to compete with Cursor and other agentic AI tools.
The new desktop app allows users to orchestrate multiple AI agents simultaneously, design custom subagent workflows, and schedule background tasks. The application also includes native voice command support, a CLI tool for terminal use, and an SDK for building custom agents.
Google introduced a new AI Ultra plan at $100, offering 5x higher usage limits than the Pro tier. The company also reduced its top-tier plan from $250 to $200, which provides 20x higher limits than the Pro tier. Google Cloud customers gain integration access, and enterprise users receive custom agent templates in AI Studio.
Google is integrating Antigravity into Google Search, allowing users to generate custom user interfaces in real time and build mini-apps while searching for information. The underlying engine uses Gemini 3.5 Flash, which Google says was co-developed using Antigravity.
