Three Korean actors are teaming up for HOPE, a thriller about a mysterious tiger near the DMZ. Hwang Jung Min, Zo In Sung, and Jung Ho Yeon recently posed for ELLE Korea to discuss the film.

Hwang Jung Min plays Bum Seok, chief of a police substation in Hopo Port, a village near the Demilitarized Zone. When local youths report a tiger sighting, the village spirals into chaos. Bum Seok and the community are pulled into a thriller centered on tension, mystery, and high stakes.

Hwang Jung Min has built a streak of character-driven roles in recent films. Zo In Sung brings his intensity to the ensemble, while Jung Ho Yeon — known for Squid Game — completes the cast. The three actors discussed the film with ELLE Korea in advance of its release.

Set in a DMZ village, HOPE blends thriller mechanics with localized storytelling. The tiger sighting functions as a pressure cooker for the community's secrets, fears, and buried tensions.

With this trio leading the cast, HOPE is expected to draw significant attention.
