Vice President J.D. Vance is walking straight into the lion's den — and the internet is already buzzing about it. According to Rolling Stone, the VP will appear on The View this Tuesday to discuss his upcoming book, Communion: Finding My Way Back To Faith, and chat about "priorities and goals for the administration and the latest political headlines."
Vance will be sitting across from Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin — a panel that has been notably critical of both Vance and the Trump administration. Expect tough questions.
This is rare territory. Vance will be only the third sitting Vice President to appear on the daytime talk show's Hot Topics Table, following Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
The episode airs Tuesday, June 16 at 11 a.m. ET on ABC. If you're cord-cutting, you can stream it on DirecTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, or Sling. Most of these services offer free trials.
America's most-watched daytime talk show rarely goes easy on its guests — especially not high-profile political figures. Vance stepping into this arena will likely draw significant viewership.
