The New York Knicks have won the NBA championship. Led by Jalen Brunson's 45-point performance, the Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 94-90 on Saturday night to claim their first title since 1973.
The 4-1 series victory drew major attention in New York. The crowd at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio included Timothée Chalamet, Tracy Morgan, Ben Stiller, and Prince Harry.
Official Knicks championship merchandise is selling out online within hours of the final whistle.
The official Nike locker room T-shirt—the same design worn by Brunson and the team as they posed with the trophy—released minutes after the game and is selling quickly. The unisex design features bold graphics with draped shoulders, retailing for $60.
Nike.com and Fanatics.com are stocking the merchandise. Sizes are already disappearing across T-shirts, hoodies, and baseball caps.
Fanatics also carries licensed gear from brands like Homage (featuring fan art-inspired graphics, $42) and Sportiqe (with the NBA trophy and "CHAMPS" in skyline font, $45).
This is the first championship for New York since 1973. For Knicks fans, the merchandise has become a way to mark the occasion.
