Netflix's next prestige courtroom drama is assembling an A-list ensemble. Director John Lee Hancock has added six major names to the streamer's new legal thriller centred on the landmark 2018 Monsanto case.

LaKeith Stanfield, fresh off Roofman, is joining the project alongside Oscar-winning David Duchovny. The cast also includes Greg Kinnear, Julia McDermott from Netflix's upcoming The 99'ers, Melonie Diaz (also from Roofman), and Bilal Hasna from the streamer's spy thriller The Agency.

This follows earlier announcements of Jonathan Bailey and Laura Dern anchoring the project. Bailey's career has gained momentum post-Bridgerton, while Dern is a two-time Oscar nominee.

The Monsanto case involved thousands of plaintiffs claiming the company's glyphosate-based herbicides caused their cancer. The 2018 litigation became one of the most high-profile legal battles in recent years.

Hancock directed The Blind Side and Saving Mr. Banks. With this cast, Netflix is betting the limited series will draw significant viewership.
