Jordan Chiles is riding high after learning she's inspired Beyoncé's youngest daughter to take up gymnastics.

The Olympic gold medalist revealed at the 2026 BET Awards that Queen Bey recently told her about 9-year-old Rumi. The youngster is obsessed with Chiles and has started doing gymnastics because of her.

"She told me, 'She does nonstop flips and does all this and is always talking about you,' and I'm like that's so crazy," Chiles recalled of her conversation with Beyoncé during an exclusive E! News interview on June 28.

The 25-year-old gymnast expressed amazement at being recognized by the Carter family. "I mean, I think it's just cool that Beyoncé even knows who I am and I'm just like, 'Oh my gosh," she said.

Chiles said inspiring the next generation was her ultimate dream. "That was my biggest thing when I was little," she explained. "Like, 'Hopefully one day I'll be able to impact the next generation and that they get to understand that anything is possible.'"

Beyoncé has also been offering Chiles guidance, though Chiles kept those details private.

Chiles has been spending time with Normani as well. "Me and Normani have recently been hanging out together and we bounce off each other," the gymnast shared. "Having a big sister like her has really meant everything to me."

For Chiles, using her platform to inspire young girls matters deeply. "Being very impactful in this moment, in this time, it just means everything," she said. "I hope that every little girl gets to look and be like, 'Oh my gosh she was able to win an award and that she was able to go out there and be who she is.'"
