Australia's Fred Media is restructuring its European operations. The WTFN-owned production company announced a promotion for Kate Llewellyn-Jones and hired two new European executives to expand across Germany, Spain, France and surrounding regions.
Llewellyn-Jones receives an expanded remit. The company is bringing in Malgorzata Gudel to oversee Germany, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Nordic territories. Spanish-Portuguese exec Charo Penedo handles Spain, Portugal, France, and the Benelux region.
By splitting Europe into strategic zones with dedicated leadership, Fred Media is positioning itself to compete with established players across the continent. Each executive brings deep regional expertise in their assigned territories.
For Llewellyn-Jones, the expanded role follows a period of growth at the company. Her promotion signals Fred's confidence in her vision and execution as the company pursues international expansion.
European broadcasters and streamers are seeking fresh content. Australian production has become a recognized alternative to established competitors, and Fred Media is positioning itself to capitalise on that demand with leadership in major markets across the continent.
