Love Island USA's Season 7 winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales have split after nearly nine months of dating.
The breakup followed tension visible at the reunion. Bryan denied cheating on Amaya but admitted he had a "lapse in judgment" when he handed out shots at a club.
Amaya has since moved on with a new boyfriend. Meanwhile, runners-up Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen have remained together by keeping their relationship private.
"We've definitely been making progress with our connection," Olandria told E! News in November. Nic advised future Islanders: "If I were to give any advice about sharing your relationship, you don't have to do it after Love Island. They make you think that you do, but you don't."
As season 8 of Love Island USA prepares to air on Peacock on June 2, host Ariana Madix says she is often surprised by which contestants couple up. "Sometimes I think you can feel an energy between people that maybe you don't even see on camera," she recently told Peacock Blog.
