The 67-year-old pop icon opened up on the Rent Free game show for Bilt about her dating days in New York City's '80s club scene, and her criteria was refreshingly straightforward: a decent bathtub and shower.
"I would date guys based on whether they had bathtubs and showers I could use," Madonna laughed while wearing a glamorous all-pink outfit. "I'd be like, 'So where do you live?' And they're like, 'I live on the Upper West Side.' And I'm like, 'Do you have a bathtub?' That was a big plus for me."
But there was more. The Material Girl was getting way more than just bathroom access from her romantic prospects.
"I'd go to this guy or potential boyfriend's house and take a bath or a shower," she elaborated between fits of laughter. "And eat their mother's home cooking!"
Madonna turned dating into a strategic life hack. Free premium bathrooms and home-cooked meals gave her what she needed.
