Matt Damon isn't ready to hang up Jason Bourne's credentials just yet. The actor revealed in a recent interview with Parade magazine that he's open to playing the amnesia-stricken CIA operative again.

"We're always looking to try to get another one," Damon said. The comment suggests the actor, who has played the role since 2002's The Bourne Identity, sees potential in the character even as his career expands.

Right now, Damon is working on Christopher Nolan's epic The Odyssey. But that commitment hasn't eliminated interest in another Bourne film.

The franchise has been a financial success: Damon's five-film run (including the Jeremy Renner spin-off) grossed billions worldwide and redefined the spy-thriller genre. Universal, the studio behind the series, would likely pursue another entry if the script and timeline worked.

Damon's comments arrive as Hollywood increasingly revives legacy franchises. Whether "We're always looking" results in a greenlight remains unclear—but his openness to returning signals continued interest in the character.

Even as A-list stars pursue prestige projects and director collaborations, Damon's willingness to revisit Bourne suggests the role still appeals to him.

No announcement is expected soon. But Damon's openness keeps speculation alive.
