Melina Matthews has signed with France's Elev8on Management for European representation, according to an exclusive from Deadline Hollywood. The La Peste and Olympo actress joins the agency's roster of rising talent.
Elev8on is also signing Ana Dumitrascu, the lead in Diary of a Chambermaid, which is competing at Directors' Fortnight, and Indonesian actress Asmara Abigail, who stars in Jeremias Nyangoen's Black Coffee, a Critics Week entry.
The signings come as the festival circuit intensifies and European productions seek new talent. Elev8on, a boutique management firm, has built its roster around festival-circuit performers.
Matthews' work on La Peste and Olympo appears to have drawn the agency's interest. European management representation typically leads to co-productions, cross-border collaborations, and wider continental visibility.
All three signings are expected to appear at awards season events.
