Michael Boulos—husband to Tiffany Trump and luxury entrepreneur—was seated next to Secretary of State Marco Rubio during an official U.S.–UAE diplomatic meeting this week. He holds no formal government position.
According to Rolling Stone, the Wednesday meeting addressed Trump's MOU with Iran, Strait of Hormuz security, and regional stability. Rubio posted a photo of himself and Boulos at the centre of the conference table, opposite the UAE delegation.
When reporters asked what role Boulos was playing, Rubio offered a simple explanation: "He was there to see his brother who lives here. He was just here because his brother lives here, and I'm a good friend of Michael's, so we had a chance to catch up."
His brother is Fares Boulos, an Afrobeats DJ and aspiring actor.
Boulos is the son of Massad Boulos, Trump's senior adviser for Arab and African affairs. Michael has never held official government office, though he has been accused of leveraging his Trump family ties for financial gain. His presence at the diplomatic table during Middle East negotiations without a transparent role drew immediate scrutiny online.
