Off Campus has been greenlit for season two. Prime Video confirmed the renewal of the hockey romance drama, with stars Ella Bright (Hannah Wells) and Belmont Cameli (Garrett Graham) returning as the fake-romance-turned-real couple.
The second season will introduce new relationship dynamics, pulling storylines from author Elle Kennedy's book series. According to E! Online, India Fowler has been cast as Grace Ivers, a love interest for John Logan (Antonio Cipriano), Garrett's best friend.
Show creator Louisa Levy told Variety: "All eight scripts are written and we have a very exciting plan for the season. I don't want to say anything yet—but I think book fans will be very excited."
Elle Kennedy, who wrote the original books and produces the show, praised the casting. "They are spectacular together," she told E! News of Fowler and Cipriano's chemistry tests. Grace is one of Kennedy's favorite characters. "She rambles when she's nervous and she's just so random," Kennedy explained. "I'm really excited to see Grace onscreen. I think people will really resonate with her because she is just awkward."
The adaptation weaves storylines from different books into the same season, similar to Bridgerton's approach. Season one adapted The Deal, while season two will explore new character arcs. Kennedy said the writers have freedom to deviate from the source material when it serves the story. "Whatever we change should serve the overall vibe of the show," she said.
