Olivia Culpo is preparing for her second child. The pregnant Culpo Sisters star opened her second nursery on Instagram Stories June 28, displaying a beige, animal-themed room. According to E! Online, the 35-year-old is taking a minimalist approach this time around.
Unlike when she converted her home office into a bedroom for daughter Colette last year, Olivia is simply tucking a crib into a guest room typically used by her sister Aurora's kids, Remi and Soleil. "I wanted to keep the twin beds because Remi and Soleil sleep here when they come over," she explained on her Instagram Story.
The couple does not know the baby's gender yet, and Olivia is comfortable with that. "We also don't know the baby's gender yet, so this feels perfect neutral for now," she wrote. She added: "Honestly, newborns don't really sleep in their room in the beginning anyway because they're eating around the clock."
The room is styled with comfort in mind. A white boucleé armchair with matching ottoman sits next to a canopied bassinet, flanked by wicker decorations and a toy chest bearing Colette's name. Olivia described the newborn essentials: "In those early days, all you really need is a bassinet and a boob/bottle… bonus points for a really good rocking chair."
In June, Olivia posted a Father's Day tribute to Christian McCaffrey: "My greatest gift is knowing our children get to grow up with you as their dad." She closed with "Now time for round 2."
Colette is getting a sibling soon.
