OuiDo! Productions, the Paris-based studio behind family favourites like Alvinnn!!! and The Chipmunks and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+, has announced a move into adult animation. According to exclusive reporting from Deadline, the studio has partnered with animation producers Didier Creste and Joé Baudot to launch a joint venture called Everybody on Board, focused on developing and producing animated content for adults.
The announcement came at Annecy, the industry's largest animation festival. The studio's first project under this banner is a horror-tinged animated series.
The pivot from children's content to adult animation reflects a broader shift in where creative investment is moving within the industry. For a studio known for wholesome content, the move represents a significant change in direction.
