Peyton List, Sydney Agudong, Skylar Astin, Meg Donnelly, and Jordan Fisher have signed on to voice the upcoming animated musical film Brave Knight. Lookbook Entertainment is shopping the film at Cannes.
List brings her profile from Cobra Kai and her theatre background from Heathers: The Musical. Agudong (Lilo & Stitch, Ripple) joins the cast alongside Astin, who recently appeared in Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. Fisher and Donnelly, known from High School Musical and the Zombies franchise, complete the ensemble. Fisher won a Tony for Hadestown; Donnelly has worked across Disney's musical projects.
The casting reflects confidence from producers eyeing both theatrical and streaming platforms. The animated musical space has shown it can perform commercially when talent and story align.
