Forget hiring a stunt double—just send your daughter out instead. According to E! Online, Hollywood's most famous mothers are raising daughters who bear striking resemblance to them.

Reese Witherspoon regularly gets mistaken for her 26-year-old daughter Ava Phillippe. "I love being mistaken for her," the Legally Blonde icon told Gayle King, "because it makes me feel so young." Ava, who just made her acting debut on ABC's Doctor Odyssey, handles the confusion well, though Reese admits "it's probably not easy looking exactly like your mother."

The Oscar winner points to Big Little Lies costar Zoë Kravitz, 37, as someone who understands the dynamic. Zoë's mother, Lisa Bonet, 58, could practically be her twin. Reese revealed she tells Ava to call Zoë when the resemblance becomes overwhelming. "That's another mother-daughter combo that's like identical twins," she explained.

Supermodel Kaia Gerber, 24, has long grappled with being compared to her mother, Cindy Crawford. In Vogue, she said: "From day one, people in the industry were often taken aback by my resemblance to my mom. It used to be that I didn't see it at all, but now I will look at a picture and have to take a moment before realizing which one of us it is."

Kaia has inherited more than her mother's appearance. "The biggest compliment is when someone says I act like my mom," she said. "Beyond her beauty, she has always been my hero because of the way she treats people."

The pattern extends across Hollywood. Jodie Sweetin's daughters, Tom Llamas and his son Tomas, and others share similarly striking genetic resemblances to their famous parents.
