Role Model is officially back. The musician has announced his third LP Chuck Timely & the Hourglass, the follow-up to his breakout album Kansas Anymore, arriving August 7 via Interscope.
Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pilsbury, introduced a brand new alter ego called Chuck Timely back in April—complete with a dedicated Instagram account that left fans confused.
Last week, Pilsbury sent acquaintance cards via snail mail to select fans, directing them to a pre-recorded voicemail from Chuck himself.
Those voicemail messages teased both the album and its lead single, High Hopes 3000, which drops June 3.
Kansas Anymore proved Pilsbury could craft compelling music. Whether Chuck Timely & the Hourglass is a concept album, an experimental detour, or something else remains unclear.
