Savannah Guthrie is using Mother's Day to appeal to the public. The Today Show anchor shared an emotional Instagram tribute to her mother Nancy, who vanished from her Tucson, Arizona home on Feb. 1 under deeply disturbing circumstances.
In the post, Guthrie compiled video clips of moments with her mother alongside a message: "Mother, daughter, sister, Nonie we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you."
She continued: "We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous and the reward remains available. Please keep praying. Bring her home."
Nancy, 84, was last seen on Jan. 31. The FBI released surveillance footage showing a masked assailant approaching her front door at night. Authorities believe she was taken from her home against her will.
Guthrie and her family have posted a $1 million reward for information leading to Nancy's safe return. Police have detained several persons of interest, though no charges have been filed.
Guthrie was absent from The Today Show for two months. She returned to the desk in April, with Hoda Kotb filling in during her absence. She spoke publicly about her mother's disappearance in March, and viewers offered support.
As Mother's Day passes, the family's anguish is evident. With Nancy still missing and a $1 million reward offered, Guthrie's appeal is clear: someone knows what happened. The family will continue searching until she is found.
