STARSHIP Entertainment announced the debut details for AEN, a seven-member boy group produced in partnership with Japanese entertainment company AMUSE.

The announcement came on June 25 at midnight KST, with fans responding immediately to the news.

The collaboration between STARSHIP (home to ASTRO and IVE) and AMUSE positions AEN for both Korean and Japanese markets from the start. AEN's lineup includes six confirmed members, with the seventh yet to be revealed. The group's first teaser accompanied the announcement.

Industry observers are already discussing AEN's potential sound and positioning. STARSHIP has released polished, trend-setting tracks, while AMUSE brings Japanese production experience. The combination could produce something distinct in the crowded boy group market.

The June timing allows AEN momentum heading into summer festival season and the K-pop award show circuit. By autumn, the group could gain substantial visibility.

AEN is now officially in the market.
