Tabu gave gold bangles to choreographer Saroj Khan and Rs 1,000 cash to over 50 dancers after the Rang De shoot, according to a dance artist who worked on the production.
The artist revealed that Tabu's gifts extended beyond the dancers. "Tabu also gifted a gold chain to her male assistant and a gold bracelet to her female assistant," they recalled. The gifts included gold bangles for Khan and Rs 1,000 cash gifts to over 50 dancers.
The presents were personalised across the entire crew: gold bangles for the choreographer, cash for each dancer, and individual pieces for her assistants.
On-set generosity of this scale is uncommon in the industry. Most actors host a wrap party or arrange a group gift. Tabu distributed individual gifts to everyone from the lead choreographer to background dancers.
