Natalie Joy got a masterclass in plastic surgery reality—and it's not what she wanted to hear. The 27-year-old, who's expecting twins with husband Nick Viall, sat down with renowned surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow on the Viall Files podcast and walked away with some sobering advice: pump the brakes on any mommy makeover plans.
"The general rule I tell people is, if you're thinking of having kids in the next two years, don't [get plastic surgery] because it's just gonna change everything," Dubrow said during the June 24 episode. "Don't touch the tummy or the breasts. Don't do anything."
The Botched star, who's worked with everyone from Janice Dickinson to Kim Zolciak-Biermann, explained why cosmetic procedures don't align with pregnancy. He walked through a hypothetical breast augmentation: you go from a B cup to a full C, skin stretches. Then you get pregnant again, hormones kick in, and suddenly you're a double D. After breastfeeding stops? Back down to a C—but with saggy, stretched skin that needs a lift.
"It's better to wait," Dubrow advised, recommending Joy hold off on any mommy makeovers until she's completely "done, done" with having children.
Joy took it in stride. She thanked Dubrow for answering her "many plastic surgery questions" about motherhood—and then dropped the punchline: "I have so many appointments I have to cancel."
Joy is already mom to 2-year-old daughter River Rose with Viall and announced her twin pregnancy in February. Those cosmetic plans will have to wait.
