According to Soompi, THE BOYZ's Q and WJSN's Chu So Jung (better known as Exy) have joined the cast of "Akgu: The Secret of the Moon Shadow," a horror film. The production company also announced roles for veteran actors Yoon Sang Hyun, Oh Woo Ri, Kim Su Gyeom, and Jang Yeo Bin.
This is not a low-budget indie project. Both idols are working alongside A-list Korean talent in what appears to be a substantial film production.
For Q, this marks a significant step beyond his work with THE BOYZ. Idol actors often appear in dramas or variety shows, but a horror film role, especially one featuring veteran stars, requires real casting credibility.
