Tom Kane, the voice actor who voiced Yoda in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, has died at 64. He passed away on May 18 in Kansas City after suffering a stroke more than five years ago.

Kane's death was announced on social media by Galactic Productions. His credits included The Powerpuff Girls, Archer, and dozens of video games and animated series spanning decades.

Beyond Yoda, Kane voiced countless characters across animation, games, and features. He worked extensively on The Powerpuff Girls and Archer, where his distinctive delivery defined multiple characters.

The animation community is paying tribute. Voice actors, producers, and fellow creatives who worked with Kane are sharing memories of a prolific professional.

A stroke in 2020 or earlier limited his work in recent years. His characters will continue to appear in streaming services, DVDs, and broadcasts watched by generations who grew up hearing his voice.
