YouTubers Coffeezilla and penguinz0 have exposed a data breach affecting customers of Trump Mobile, the smartphone company bearing President Trump's name. According to a TechCrunch investigation, both creators ordered the gold-colored T1 smartphone and discovered their personal information exposed.

"I am one of those customers whose mailing address, email address, you know, everything short of credit card number is being leaked," Coffeezilla said. "Do not order on trumpmobile.com unless you're ready for your information to be leaked. It's basically that bad."

Trump Mobile has not responded. A researcher alerted both creators to the leak and showed them their personal information as proof of access. When the researcher contacted the company, they received no reply.

"All of us have been met with radio silence," penguinz0 said. Neither creator disclosed exactly how the data was exposed, saying the method was so straightforward that revealing it would worsen the problem.

The leak indicates only around 30,000 people ordered the T1, compared with the 590,000 preorders the company claimed last year. The phone itself drew criticism from the start, with reports suggesting it is a rebranded two-year-old HTC device. It also features an American flag with 11 stripes instead of 13.

Trump Mobile did not respond to TechCrunch's request for comment. Customers who ordered the phone should verify whether their data has been compromised.
