Vardhaan Puri shared a Mother's Day confession on social media. The actor revealed he's been maintaining a diary since 2008 where he writes down all the important advice his mother, Dr. Meena Rajeev Puri, gives him.

He has documented 18 years of his mother's guidance. The actor describes his mother as "balanced, disciplined, and passionate," and says that if he can become "even 1% of the human being she is," he'll be grateful.

One of the key lessons she has emphasized: treat every human being with equal dignity, respect, and kindness—no matter their social or financial standing. "Character is how you treat someone regardless of what they can do for you in return," Vardhaan shared. He practices this consciously every day.

His mother also offered advice at the start of his acting career. When he asked if he was truly ready for films, she told him: "One never feels ready. One has to jump into the ocean and learn to swim."

For Mother's Day, Vardhaan planned an at-home family dinner with live music, a movie night, and salted caramel popcorn.

The tribute drew attention for its sincerity in an industry where such public acknowledgments are often formulaic.
