Vince Gilligan and Rhea Seehorn have officially reunited for their new Apple TV drama Pluribus, rekindling the chemistry that defined Better Call Saul.
According to Deadline Hollywood, the creator and star have worked together for more than a decade. Their partnership began in 2015, when Gilligan's crime series Better Call Saul—the follow-up to his hit Breaking Bad—premiered.
Apple has already greenlit Season 2 of Pluribus, before Season 1 has finished airing. The early renewal signals confidence in the project.
Gilligan and Seehorn have sustained their working relationship across multiple projects. Their ability to work from shared creative instincts has allowed them to move quickly without extensive rewrites or lengthy explanations.
Seehorn is known for her role as Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul, the sharp and conflicted attorney at the show's center. In Pluribus, she anchors a new drama from Gilligan, who created some of television's most acclaimed series.
The Season 2 greenlight before Season 1 has fully aired demonstrates Apple's commitment to the creators' vision.
