YouTuber Anurag Dobhal has revealed he's been forced to sell off his bike collection due to a financial crisis.
In a recent vlog, Dobhal said: "I had to sell the bikes because I was dealing with a financial crisis daily, and I was in dire need of money."
The bike collection represented a Rs 10 crore passion project. For a content creator who built his brand around automotive content, selling the bikes meant parting with a significant part of his work.
The sale raises questions about the sustainability of YouTube income for creators. Algorithmic changes, declining ad revenue, and shifts in viewership can quickly undermine a creator's financial position, forcing the liquidation of assets.
Dobhal's public acknowledgment of his financial troubles is uncommon in an ecosystem where most creators project consistent success. His willingness to speak openly about the crisis stands in contrast to the curated image many maintain.
