A.R. Rahman will perform at the Attari Border on June 7 as part of a special tribute to India's Border Security Force, according to Bollywood Hungama.

Titled Jai Ho – A Tribute to the Bravehearts, the event celebrates the courage and sacrifice of BSF personnel who serve on India's borders. Rahman will perform during the Parade Ceremony at JCP Stadium between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm.

The tribute ties into the upcoming Imtiaz Ali film Main Vaapas Aaunga, with director Ali and actor Vedang Raina expected to attend alongside several singers connected to the film's music. Mohit Chauhan, Pooja Tiwari and Nargis are all set to participate.

The event title references Rahman's Oscar-winning track Jai Ho, a song associated with resilience and national pride. The organisers chose this title to amplify appreciation for BSF personnel serving under challenging conditions.

Major production partners including Birla Studios, Applause Entertainment and producer Mohit Choudhary are expected to be present.

The Attari Border event marks a departure from typical film announcements, bringing music and gratitude to the nation's frontline ahead of Main Vaapas Aaunga's release.
