Adrien Brody just shared his approach to making his relationship with Georgina Chapman work. Fresh off his Broadway debut in The Fear of 13, the Oscar winner spoke on the 2026 Tony Awards red carpet about how he and Chapman sustain their relationship amid demanding schedules.

"She's super generous," Brody told E! News at Radio City Music Hall on June 7. "It's a routine at this point. We both understand our hectic lives, but she's incredibly generous in her spirit."

The 53-year-old actor—who was first linked to Chapman in 2019—spoke candidly about what he values in a partner. Finding someone who understands your life matters.

"You need to find that person who has those qualities," Brody explained, "and who is actually generous of spirit and gets you and can tolerate you and your work and your profession and your immersions in that. It takes a certain type."

Fashion designer Chapman, 50, proved she is that person by appearing at his side on the red carpet. The former Marchesa creative director—who left Harvey Weinstein in 2017—has steadied him as he navigates Broadway's demands.

Playing Nick Yarris, a man who spent over two decades on death row for a murder he didn't commit, is taxing work. In April, Brody told The Broadway Show that theater differs fundamentally from film.

"Movies aren't easy, but you have a lot at your disposal to assist when things don't flow," he said. "The joy and pain of doing theater is your own physical, emotional, intellectual being has to carry the responsibility of remaining present night after night."

He has Chapman in his corner—his "partner in crime," as he calls her. The red carpet smiles suggest the feeling is mutual.
