Cedric the Entertainer has signed with Independent Artist Group for across-the-board representation. According to Deadline, the agreement also covers A Bird And A Bear Entertainment, his production company co-founded with Eric Rhone. The company has a first-look deal at CBS, giving the network first consideration on projects the company develops.
Cedric is one of the original Kings of Comedy, alongside Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley, and Bernie Mac. His career spans stand-up, acting, and producing. The CBS first-look deal accelerates project development and helps creators build production operations within major studio relationships.
For IAG, the deal brings on both an established talent and a production company with existing network relationships and a development pipeline.
