It's the one where Courteney Cox and Johnny McDaid go their separate ways. According to multiple outlets, the Friends actress and Snow Patrol member have ended their relationship after more than a decade of dating since 2013.

The former couple—Cox, 62, and McDaid, 49—were last photographed together in September at the 2025 US Open. Neither has publicly commented on the split, and their representatives have not responded to requests for statement.

Cox met McDaid through Ed Sheeran, who invited him to a party at her house. "I remember seeing Johnny and going, 'Oh, wow, he's intense, he's got those eyes,'" Cox recalled on The Howard Stern Show in 2022. "And he was playing the piano and then I thought, 'Oh, he's really, really handsome.'"

They did not exchange numbers that night. Cox later mentioned her interest to Isla Fisher, who told then-husband Sacha Baron Cohen. Cohen passed the message to McDaid, who reached out "the next day" and asked Cox on a date.

They moved quickly, getting engaged in February 2014. They called off the engagement in late 2015 and spent six months apart before rekindling their relationship in 2016.

"Just look at us," McDaid told E! News in May 2016. "I love her. I've always loved her."

The relationship faced obstacles over the years. McDaid was based in London while Cox remained in California. "That's an expensive relationship," Cox joked on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2019. The pair spent nine months apart during the COVID-19 pandemic before reuniting in December 2020.

In September 2023, Cox marked a decade with McDaid on Instagram, writing: "10 years ago this guy introduced me to this guy"—referring to Sheeran's role in bringing them together.
