Jane Seymour announced her engagement to singer-songwriter John Zambetti on June 11 at the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The couple met three years ago at a concert thrown by their mutual friend, rapper Shwayze.
"Someone decided they wanted to be with me for the rest of their lives," Seymour told Us Weekly. The 74-year-old had not expected to marry again. "I was very, very single," she said during a 2024 appearance on Tamron Hall. "I'm 73, I don't think I'm going out or doing anything. I'm done with guys, it's not happening." A girlfriend convinced her to attend the concert.
On their first date, they discovered that Zambetti's son Johnny and Seymour's son Sean were already best friends. "His son, Shwayze, and my son Sean, they were all friends and he used to hang out at my house," she explained.
Seymour has been married four times before. She now shares a house with Zambetti that is filled with music. "There's nothing but music in my house," she told Us Weekly. "He's a singer-songwriter. His son is a singer-songwriter. My son [Johnny] is a singer-songwriter."
Seymour has six children with various exes, including David Flynn and James Keach. Zambetti has two children with his late wife Joan Zambetti. Johnny is 38 and Sean is 40.
