Olivia Rodrigo became Barcelona's good luck charm — and the internet noticed.

The pop star took over El Clásico, one of football's biggest rivalries, at exactly the right moment. On Sunday night, Spotify's Olivia Rodrigo collaboration with FC Barcelona delivered what the club needed: the men's team won La Liga after defeating Real Madrid 2-0 while wearing limited-edition jerseys featuring Rodrigo's branding.

Barcelona midfielder Pedri González spoke after the match. "Maybe she brought us a bit of luck today," he told press. "It's always nice to see people like that supporting the club. [Olivia] has a very special energy that could make me drop dead."

The week began Wednesday when Barcelona's women's squad — wearing Rodrigo-branded jerseys — beat Levante 5-0 and lifted their trophy that same night. Rodrigo attended team practice later in the week to congratulate the players and photograph with them.

Friday brought a Spotify-hosted event at the historic Teatre Grec. The venue displayed exclusive merch designed using fonts from her upcoming album You Seem So Sad for a Girl So in Love (June 12). Retro Barcelona jerseys paid homage to the 2003 kit — Rodrigo's birth year — alongside Nike hoodies, scarves, and tote bags with team colors and the singer's branding.

Rodrigo performed "her first show in a long time" to 1,500 Barcelona fans. She played her biggest hits from Sour — "Deja Vu," "Traitor," and "Drivers License" — and Guts deep cuts like "Vampire" and "Get Him Back!"

Merch sold out quickly. Some pieces already appeared on eBay.
