Olivia Rodrigo has released a music video for "Stupid Song," set in New York City. The video uses Central Park and a convenience store as backdrops for the track from her third studio album.

The song opens with Rodrigo singing: New York City's never looked so blue / My friends are smoking blunts in the bathroom / They say that honest love is a cage that makes you feel free. In the video, she leaves an apartment and walks through the city with a group of ballerinas, creating contrast between their graceful movements and the urban setting. She continues: And all the girls at this party are so cool / That's never been a thing that I could do / But I can't help but imagine what you say when you speak with me.

"Stupid Song" is the second track on Rodrigo's third studio album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, which was recently released on streaming platforms. The album follows her earlier singles "Drop Dead" and "The Cure."
