Pink moved her family from Southern California to New York City so her 15-year-old daughter Willow could pursue theater. The 46-year-old musician joked about the decision on The Kelly Clarkson Show earlier this year: "We actually moved here because I am an amazing mom," before explaining the real reason: "so Willow could study theater and experience more Broadway."
Pink is hosting the 2026 Tony Awards on June 7 at Radio City Music Hall, and her children will attend. Willow will help her through the ceremony, while 9-year-old Jameson will wear a white tuxedo. On CBS Mornings, Pink described the reversal of roles: "She has followed me around the world her whole life, on and off tour. And I told her, it's your turn. We'll follow you."
Willow has been active in theater since the move, performing in charity cabarets, workshops, and the musical Carrie. "She's killing it. It's fun to watch," Pink told E! News.
Pink's mother, Judith Moore, an ER nurse who bought Broadway tickets for her daughter while Pink was growing up in Pennsylvania, will attend the Tony Awards. "She's so excited and this is all because of her," Pink told E! News. "It just makes me want to cry talking about it."
The move has meant trade-offs. "It means she has less time to duet with me," Pink said, laughing about spending less time performing together.
