Ranveer Singh has drawn high praise from veteran actor Rakesh Bedi, who calls him Bollywood's most versatile performer.

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Bedi was direct when asked if Ranveer ranks among the best actors working today. "Ranveer Singh mein ek bahot khaas quality hai," Bedi said, using a car analogy. "He's like a vehicle that can operate at any power level — 0 to 100. Whether he needs to deliver at 10% intensity or go full throttle at 100%, he can do it flawlessly."

Most actors, Bedi said, have a capacity ceiling of about 30%. "They can't go beyond that. So they hide behind subtle acting, telling themselves 'we don't need to be loud.' But that's just a cover — they simply can't access those higher gears."

Ranveer's performances in the Dhurandhar franchise have drawn widespread acclaim. His work as Hamza and Jaskirat, switching between emotional depth and intense physicality, has been central to the franchise's success as one of Indian cinema's biggest hits.

Bedi's comments align with industry praise for Ranveer's work on the franchise. Dhurandhar 2 composer Shashwat Sachdev recently credited Ranveer's "physical voltage" with making the track 'Aari Aari' unforgettable.

With his birthday on July 6, more industry tributes are expected.
