Rosalía has postponed her U.S. tour launch. The Spanish superstar announced Thursday morning that she is postponing her Lux world tour dates in Florida due to a family emergency.
Her June 4 Miami show at Kaseya Center, which was supposed to open the entire U.S. leg, is now postponed. So are her June 6 Miami date and June 8 stop in Orlando.
Both the Kaseya Center in Miami and the Kia Center in Orlando shared identical statements on Instagram, confirming the postponement. "She is sorry to disappoint her fans, but the circumstances have left her with no other choice," the venue statement read. The message also reassured ticket holders: "As the tour explores rescheduling, please hold onto your ticket. We will provide more information soon."
Rosalía's representatives have not commented to Rolling Stone, but the venues have confirmed the postponement. Fans have posted supportive messages online.
The Lux world tour was expected to be significant for the Barcelona-born artist. Rescheduled dates are expected to be announced soon.
